OverviewBELLA+CANVAS is looking for a Senior Product Developer with an exceptional eye for product, culture, and craftsmanship. Responsibilities- Own the product development lifecycle from concept through production, ensuring exceptional quality, fit, construction, and execution.
- Drive innovation across garment dye, wash, and finishing techniques to create products with premium hand feel, authentic character, and elevated aesthetics.
- Source and develop world-class fabrics, trims, and sustainable materials aligned with the BELLA+CANVAS brand vision.
- Leverage a strong domestic and global supplier network to identify new capabilities, improve speed to market, and optimize cost without sacrificing quality.
- Partner cross-functionally with Design, Technical Design, Production, Merchandising, and Sourcing to bring product concepts to life.
- Build and manage strategic vendor relationships while negotiating pricing, MOQs, timelines, and development calendars.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends in textiles, wash innovation, sustainability, and manufacturing technologies, translating market insights into commercial product opportunities.
- Maintain an organized development library of fabrics, trims, washes, colors, and seasonal references.
- Champion continuous improvement in development processes, communication, and execution across teams.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements- 8+ years of apparel product development experience, preferably within premium basics, contemporary apparel, or elevated essentials.
- Deep expertise in garment dye techniques, pigment dye, enzyme washes, vintage treatments, specialty finishes, and premium laundering processes.
- Strong knowledge of luxury and performance fabrications, including cotton, fleece, sustainable blends, and next-generation textiles.
- Established relationships with domestic and international mills, laundries, and manufacturing partners.
- Excellent understanding of garment construction, fit, costing, sourcing, and commercialization.
- Highly organized with exceptional project management skills and the ability to manage multiple calendars and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to balance creativity, quality, speed, and profitability.
- Proficiency in PLM, Microsoft Excel, and development workflows; Adobe Illustrator experience is a plus.
- A collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A pulse on fashion, culture, emerging trends, and consumer behavior with an instinct for what feels relevant before everyone else.
WHAT'S our offer?Salary Range: You`ll earn between $84,178 - $120,750 annually, depending on experience.
Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 10% of base salary.
Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a bi-weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.

What Should You Expect?B+C Office: Bella + Canvas' office is located in Montebello, CA in the Los Angeles metropolitan area. This role is onsite Monday through Friday, and our standard working hours are 9:00-6:00 PST. Periodic travel may be required. The employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods while working on a computer and participating in virtual and in-person meetings. Frequent use of hands for keyboarding and standard office equipment is required. Occasional standing, walking, and reaching may be needed to attend meetings or collaborate in an office setting. The role requires the ability to perform close visual work on a computer for extended periods. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 10-15 pounds.
