Full Job Description
WHOOP is hiring a Senior Product Designer to help shape the future of how people understand, improve, and manage their health and performance. In this highly collaborative role, you will partner with Product, Engineering, Research, Data Science, and Clinical teams to design intuitive, trustworthy, and impactful experiences across the WHOOP ecosystem.

You are a strategic thinker who thrives in ambiguity and can seamlessly move between vision-setting and execution. You bring strong product judgment, systems thinking, and exceptional design craft to solve complex member problems, helping deliver experiences that drive meaningful outcomes for millions of members.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead the end-to-end design of mobile-first product experiences across the WHOOP ecosystem, from early concept development through launch and iteration.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, define product direction, and deliver meaningful outcomes for members.
  • Translate complex member needs, business objectives, and technical constraints into intuitive, elegant, and scalable user experiences.
  • Leverage qualitative research, quantitative data, experimentation, and product judgment to inform design decisions and measure impact.
  • Balance long-term product vision with near-term execution, helping teams make thoughtful tradeoffs while maintaining a high bar for quality.
  • Contribute to the evolution of WHOOP design systems, product principles, and design culture through collaboration, mentorship, and thoughtful critique.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5+ years of experience designing consumer digital products, including significant experience shipping mobile applications.
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong end-to-end product design skills, visual craft, and measurable user or business impact.
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives from discovery through execution.
  • Strong systems-thinking skills and the ability to simplify complex concepts into intuitive user experiences.
  • Deep understanding of interaction design, information architecture, visual design, and product strategy.
  • Expertise with modern design tools and workflows, including Figma, prototyping tools, and emerging AI-enabled design workflows.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale and influence decisions across diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions.

This role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA. The successful candidate must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office.

At WHOOP, we view total compensation as the combination of base salary, equity, and benefits, with equity serving as a key differentiator that aligns our employees with the long-term success of the company and allows every member of our corporate team to own part of WHOOP and share in the company's long-term growth and success.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $155,000-$215,000. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within each range, individual pay is based on factors such as job-related skills, experience, performance, and relevant education or training.

In addition to the base salary, the successful candidate will also receive benefits and a generous equity package.

These ranges may be modified in the future to reflect evolving market conditions and organizational needs. While most offers will typically fall toward the starting point of the range, total compensation will depend on the candidate's specific qualifications, expertise, and alignment with the role's requirements.
