JOB DESCRIPTION

Join a team focused on making benefits simple, relevant, and easy to use across digital channels. You’ll work closely with partners across design, engineering, analytics, and operations to deliver measurable improvements customers can feel.

As a Senior Product Associate in Benefits Experience, you help shape and deliver customer-centric digital benefits journeys, translating customer and business needs into clear requirements, prioritized backlogs, and outcomes you can measure.

 

Job responsibilities
  • Support product strategy and roadmap priorities that deliver customer and business value
  • Lead discovery through market research, customer insights, and competitive analysis to identify problems and opportunities
  • Own and maintain components of the product backlog, ensuring requirements and user stories are clear and actionable
  • Partner with design, engineering, research, analytics, marketing, servicing, legal, risk, and controls to deliver new features and optimize existing experiences
  • Use product metrics, analytics, and research to prioritize initiatives and evaluate results
  • Champion improvements to customer satisfaction, engagement, personalization, self-service, and cross-channel consistency
  • Define and communicate priorities, tradeoffs, customer value, and delivery impacts to stakeholders
  • Author business requirements, define user stories, and support delivery routines within an Agile framework
  • Synthesize complex topics into clear updates, recommendations, and communications for stakeholders
  • Identify and help mitigate operational, technology, legal, compliance, privacy, and controls considerations across the product lifecycle

     

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 3 years of product management experience in credit cards, digital banking, financial services, or fintech
  • Strong knowledge of the digital product lifecycle (discovery, ideation, requirements, delivery, measurement, iteration)
  • Experience building roadmaps, prioritizing backlogs, and translating customer and business needs into requirements and user stories
  • Demonstrated experience writing business requirements and user stories and supporting execution in Agile delivery
  • Experience partnering with UX design, research, engineering, analytics, and business teams to deliver customer-facing digital experiences
  • Strong analytical skills, including using funnels, KPIs, and customer insights to inform prioritization and assess impact
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including explaining value, priorities, tradeoffs, and recommendations
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a complex, matrixed organization
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience

     

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Experience with consumer credit cards, loyalty, offers, rewards, or benefits platforms
  • Familiarity with benefits ecosystems (eligibility, fulfillment, partner dependencies, and servicing impacts)
  • Experience with personalization or decisioning (segmentation, targeting, content rules, and measurement)
  • Experience running experiments and using iterative delivery to optimize customer experiences
  • Familiarity with Agile collaboration tools such as Jira Align and Lucid
  • Experience aligning multiple teams around shared platforms, APIs, reusable components, and scalable operating models
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong team engagement and cross-functional collaboration
