Full Job Description

Job Summary:

The Senior Manager, Procurement will support the development and execution of an enterprise-wide procurement strategy across our diverse and decentralized global operations.

Operating in a federated group model, this role will partner closely with procurement leadership and business stakeholders to help drive alignment, enhance governance, and deliver value while respecting the autonomy of regional and subsidiary business units.

The role will contribute to sourcing initiatives, third-party risk management, procurement digitization, cost optimization, and ESG-aligned sourcing efforts across a broad range of non-IT (indirect) spend categories.

This is a hybrid role, with a few days in the office and the remaining days working from home.

Essential Job Functions:

Strategic Procurement & Category Support

  • Support the development and execution of a group-wide procurement strategy aligned to the company’s risk appetite, growth priorities, regulatory requirements, and digital transformation efforts
  • Assist in shaping and implementing a procurement operating model that enables center-led coordination while respecting subsidiary autonomy
  • Contribute to a client-focused procurement approach that helps optimize third-party spend across the organization
  • Help identify emerging procurement needs and support the development of strategies to address them
  • Provide insights and analysis to support leadership discussions on procurement strategy, third-party risk, and market trends​

Stakeholder & Change Support

  • Support enterprise alignment by helping balance global consistency with local flexibility
  • Partner with stakeholders across regional business units (CEOs, CFOs, CIOs, Legal, Compliance, etc.) to support procurement initiatives
  • Assist in developing communications, materials, and business cases to support procurement adoption and change efforts

Operational Excellence & Risk Management

  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of procurement processes, policies, and governance frameworks
  • Contribute to third-party risk management and contract lifecycle management activities
  • Leverage procurement analytics and tools (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua) to improve spend visibility and support decision-making

Qualifications:

Experience

  • 6–10+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain
  • Experience supporting sourcing initiatives and category management efforts
  • Exposure to complex or multi-entity organizations preferred
  • Experience contributing to procurement transformation or improvement initiatives is a plus
  • Familiarity with corporate categories such as IT, professional services, or travel preferred
  • Exposure to global regulatory environments (Japan, U.S., U.K., EU) is a plus

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
  • Procurement certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) are advantageous
