Full Job Description
ABOUT THE JOB

We are seeking a Senior Procurement Manager to lead and scale procurement operations. This is a senior leadership role responsible for building and executing the procurement strategy that underpins Anduril's rapid growth in critical imaging products and defense programs. You will own supplier relationships at the strategic level, drive cost and delivery performance across a complex supply base, and build the procurement organization needed to support full-rate production. The ideal candidate brings deep procurement expertise, a track record of leading teams through high-growth environments, and the judgment to balance cost, risk, and speed in a fast-moving defense business.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Lead Strategic Supplier Relationships & Negotiations: Serve as the senior point of contact for key suppliers and subcontractors. Negotiate long-term agreements, manage executive-level relationships, and oversee subcontract administration ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS, ITAR, and company requirements.
  • Drive Sourcing & Supplier Qualification: Lead make-vs-buy decisions and source selection for complex components and assemblies. Technically qualify new suppliers and build a diversified, resilient supply base that reduces single-point-of-failure risk.
  • Own Risk Management & Cost Performance: Proactively identify and mitigate supply risks including long-lead materials, sole-source dependencies, and capacity constraints. Drive cost reduction through competitive sourcing, should-cost modeling, and design-for-manufacturability collaboration with engineering.
  • Build & Lead the Procurement Team: Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement organization. Set clear objectives, establish standard processes and metrics, and create a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with engineering, program management, quality, finance, and production leadership to ensure procurement decisions are aligned with program milestones, budget constraints, and strategic priorities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
  • 8+ years of progressive supply chain experience, with at least 3 years in a management or team lead role, preferably in aerospace & defense, propulsion, or regulated manufacturing.
  • Strong background in procurement, subcontracts, material planning, and warehouse/inventory operations.
  • Knowledge of FAR/DFARS, ITAR, and defense contracting practices.
  • Proven ability to lead or participate in complex negotiations and deliver results on cost, schedule, and quality.
  • Experience in optimizing supply chain processes during high growth or production ramps.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
