Beehive Industries is dedicated to Powering American Defense by revolutionizing the design, development, and delivery of jet propulsion systems to support the warfighter. Through the integration of additive manufacturing, the company aims to meet the growing and urgent needs for unmanned aerial defense by dramatically improving a jet engine's speed to market, fuel efficiency, and cost.

Founded in 2020, the company is headquartered in Englewood, Colorado, with additional facilities in Knoxville, Tennessee, Loveland Ohio, and Mount Vernon, Ohio. Beehive is committed to grow and advance the defense industrial base while manufacturing exclusively in the USA. This role will be located at our Mount Vernon, Ohio facility.

Role Overview:

The Senior Process Engineer role will monitor and improve the quality of Beehive's operational processes and outputs. This position offers a unique opportunity to join a world-class AM team in a company that offers stability and growth while working on challenging and innovative ideas.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing quality standards and procedures
  • Monitoring and analyzing quality performance of assigned processes and product lines
  • Investigating and troubleshooting product or production issues
  • Inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met
  • Collaborating with operations managers, process technicians, and other engineers to develop and implement controls and improvements
  • Ensuring that workflows, processes, and products comply with safety regulations
  • Developing corrective actions, solutions, and improvements for identified problems


Requirements:

  • Have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering.
  • Have 5+ years of experience in process engineering, product engineering, development engineering, or a similar role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Having an additive manufacturing background is a plus.

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. Citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
