Job Title: Senior Principal Solutions Architect

Location: Herndon, VA (Hybrid)

Position Summary
The Senior Principal Solutions Architect is an enterprise-level technical leader responsible for shaping Everfox's architectural strategy across multiple products and portfolios. This role operates at the highest level of technical depth and business impact-defining enterprise standards, influencing product and market direction, and leading the most complex capture, solutioning, and integration efforts. Serving as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, partners, and customers, this architect ensures Everfox's offerings remain innovative, mission-aligned, and compliant with global regulatory requirements. The Senior Principal Solutions Architect also plays a critical role in scaling architectural rigor, talent, and capabilities across the organization.

What You'll Be Doing

Strategy & Business Development
• Define and drive enterprise architecture strategy across multiple products and platforms.
• Lead technical solution development for high-visibility capture efforts, RFIs, RFPs, and strategic business development engagements.
• Set standards for technical responses, solution design, and technical enablement across the company.
• Influence product roadmaps, technology investments, and M&A due-diligence decisions based on market, mission, and threat trends.
• Partner with executive leadership as a strategic advisor on technical direction and enterprise growth.
• Build, mentor, and scale architectural capabilities and talent across Everfox.

Cloud Architecture & Engineering Leadership
• Establish enterprise reference architectures, design patterns, and engineering guardrails.
• Drive system-of-systems integration efforts across multi-domain, classified, and coalition environments.
• Lead adoption and integration of emerging technologies including AI/ML, Zero Trust, and edge computing.
• Ensure architectural alignment with global compliance, accreditation, cybersecurity, and mission requirements.

Innovation & Product Strategy
• Shape long-term product, platform, and technology strategy informed by customer needs, market shifts, and competitive landscape.
• Drive innovation cycles across portfolios, ensuring cross-product technology convergence and reusability.
• Evaluate and influence the partner ecosystem and strategic alliances to expand Everfox's technical advantage.
• Support prototyping, integration efforts, and technical experimentation to validate new capabilities.

Technical Solution Architecture
• Define, design, and validate end-to-end technical solutions for the most complex customer requirements.
• Serve as the primary technical liaison for key executive engagements, partner technical discussions, and high-stakes solution reviews.
• Author and review white papers, architecture documents, technical proposals, and strategic solution materials.
• Lead technical exchange sessions, solution walkthroughs, and cross-functional alignment with Product, BD, Engineering, and Delivery.

Required Skills & Experience
• Extensive experience as a Senior Principal Architect, Enterprise Architect, or equivalent technical leadership role.
• Expert-level experience in cloud and secure system architecture across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and/or Oracle Cloud.
• Deep expertise in Cross-Domain Solutions (CDS), Zero Trust architecture, high-assurance systems, and multi-security-domain integration.
• Demonstrated leadership driving enterprise architecture standards, product strategy, and large-scale solution development.
• Proven success influencing executive decisions, capture wins, and strategic roadmap direction.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for technical, business, and leadership audiences.
• Ability to build and scale architectural organizations, mentor senior technical talent, and influence cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of market dynamics, mission needs, regulatory frameworks, and how they shape technical strategy.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is:
$185,100.00-273,200.00 USD

The actual salary offered may vary within the range based on a candidates' unique experience, locale, and business needs.
