We are looking for an Architect who will contribute to and direct the RDMA and fabric networking space. This person, in addition to being a technical expert in networking, needs to have good leadership skills and can influence senior leadership in a positive way to make the business successful. They need to be able to see the roadmap of the industry as opposed to just the business. This will enable the business to take decisions that will help deliver better product and make itself competitive.

ResponsibilitiesMandatory Qualifications:- 12+ years of experience in Networking field
- Fluent in Cloud architecture, RDMA - RoCE, QoS, EVPN, VxLAN, BGP, MPLS, Tunnels, OSPF, TCP, UDP, IP, Networking device hardware, OSI L1-L7, Networking pluggables, WDM technology.
- Fluency in writing code in Python.
- Prior experience with network datacenter and cloud automation.
- Experience with virtualization, service initiation and maintenance, and meeting customer SLAs.
- Excellent judgment to influence product roadmap direction, features, and priorities.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Hardware Engineering or related field.
- Ability to work with minimal input from leadership and capability to drive, mentor the rest of the team.
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:- PhD degree in Computer Science or related engineering field.
- Experience in object-oriented languages.
QualificationsBachelors degree in Computer Science preferred and at least 12 years of related experience. Experience working in a large ISP or cloud provider environment. Exposure to commodity Ethernet hardware (Broadcom/Mellanox), protocol experience with BGP/OSPF/IS-IS, TCP, IPv4, IPv6, DNS, DHCP, MPLS. Experience with networking protocols such as TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and SSL. Experience with Internet peering and inter-domain networking. Experience with scripting or automation and datacenter design - Python preferred, but must demonstrate knowledge in a scripting or compiled language. Experience with high level software design/development. Experience with automation systems, framework design/use and deployment. Experience with network modeling and programing - YANG, OpenConfig, NETCONF. Knowledge of network security design, system performance characterization and testing. Knowledge of data flow and telemetry design, deployment and operation. Excellent judgment in influence for product roadmap direction, features, and priorities. Recognized authority and leading contributor in immediate business area and function. Uses skills to contribute to development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways. Capable of working under limited supervision. Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
