Job Description Summary:

Responsible for assisting with coordination of internal-facing preconstruction activities, including schedule updates and coordination with internal stakeholders for utility scale renewable energy projects.

This role is hybrid with regular in-office presence in our San Diego office. Specific location details and expectations will be discussed during the interview process.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:

  • PreconstructionProjectCoordination

  • Collaborate withvariousteams across theSOLVorganization, includingEngineering,Estimating,Scheduling,Preconstruction Project Management, Field Operations, and FieldInstallationteamstocoordinatepreconstructioneffortsfor utility-scale solar projects.

  • Coordinate withSOLVElectrical Preconstruction ManagementandProcurementteamsto trackand managepreconstructionprocurement and design reviewdeadlines.

  • Coordinate with SOLVPreconstruction ManagementandSOLV Engineering Managementteamsto track and manage designdeliverabledeadlines.

  • Coordinate with SOLVField TeamsandSchedulingTeamto trackand manage schedule updates.

  • Reviewcontract documents toidentifyanyproject requirements(SOLVrequirements,Project Ownerrequirements, Contract requirements, andAHJrequirements)that mayhave animpactontheprojectelectrical designwhile tracking compliance with such requirements.

  • Coordinate with theEngineering, Electrical Preconstruction, andProcurementTeamstoensuretherequired materialsare sourced andprocuredin a timely mannerwhile ensuringproject schedules and budgets are met.

  • Work with Engineering, Preconstruction,and Procurementteamsto understand design constraints and material lead-times to ensure long lead procurement itemsreceive LNTP coverage andare releasedat theirappropriate milestonesto avoid schedule delays.

  • Assistwith preparation and issuance ofpreconstruction RFIsfor EEOR and ProjectOwnerresponse to support the Electrical Preconstruction Team.

  • Collaboration and Communication

  • Work closely with cross-function teams including internal and external engineers,estimators,field operations,preconstructionprojectmanagers,procurement specialists,andconstruction teamsto providesupport and resolveproject planningrelated issues.

  • Liaison with the Electrical Preconstruction Management, Procurement, and Engineeringteamsto track changes that mayimpactthe project schedule and/or budget.

Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum(1) Year ofproject coordinationorassistantproject managerexperience preferred

  • Minimum (1) Year ofproject schedulingexperiencepreferred

  • Proficientin Oracle Primavera P6

  • Proficient inBlueBeamand Microsoft Excel

  • Effective written and verbal communications skills

  • Detailed orientedand effective organizational skills

  • Strong work ethicand ability to work autonomously

  • High aptitude for problem solving and critical thinking

  • Strong senseof urgency
