We areseekinga highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Analytical Engineer specializing in Electromagnetic Transient (EMT) analysis of power systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performing complex calculations related to Transient Over-Voltage (TOV), Transient Recovery Voltage (TRV), Switching Studies, and Insulation Coordination. Additionally, the candidate shouldpossessextensive softwareproficiencyin PSCAD or EMTP-RV.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed electrical analysisutilizingtime domain techniques to evaluate system performance andidentifypotential issues.
- Perform complex calculations related to Transient Over-Voltage (TOV), Transient Recovery Voltage (TRV), Switching Studies, and Insulation Coordination.
- Develop and implement innovative solutions tooptimizesystem performance and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technicalexpertiseand support in electrical analysis and troubleshooting.
- Prepare comprehensive reports documenting analysis findings, recommendations, and design modifications.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies relevant to time domain analysis.

Essential skills and experience:
- ABachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering(background in Power/Power Systems) and sufficient industry experience is considered in lieu of an advanced degree.Master'sor PhD in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
- 7or more years of experience in time domain analysis of power systems.
- Proficiencyinutilizingsoftware tools such as PSCAD or EMTP-RV to perform complex electrical calculations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability toidentifyand resolve complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.

Compensation Range$100,019 - $152,807
