Full Job Description
The Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement is a dynamic organization committed to delivering efficient, high-quality services to the public. As a Senior Policy Analyst within our Infrastructure Design and Delivery division, you'll play a crucial role in working on many diverse challenges that impact our province's infrastructure projects.

Location: Regina or Saskatoon (with occasional travel between locations)

As a Senior Policy Analyst, you'll be part of the Priority Project Support unit, collaborating with project delivery branches in the division's Project Support Office branch. Your primary responsibilities will include research, consultation, stakeholder management on a variety of different project management processes and procedures. You will be working on files like assessment of delivery models for infrastructure delivery, standardization of vendor performance metrics, and other ad hoc files as assigned. By leveraging your expertise, you'll enhance our province-wide infrastructure design and delivery processes, enabling better analytics and reporting within the division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer responsibilities in on the Procurement Options Analysis (POA) panel for the selection of infrastructure project delivery models as needed.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform a standardized vendor performance management system within the division for the delivery of infrastructure projects.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform policy development related to infrastructure project m anagement best practices .
  • Collaborate with project delivery teams to drive systemic change.
  • Support the acquisition and implementation of the division's end-to-end project management system.
  • Support the driving of timely and on-budget project delivery through effective policy implementation.
  • Support the development of reports and consistent updates on priority capital projects to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate investments in high-priority infrastructure initiatives.
