Job Description:About the RoleThe Senior PMO Manager provides leadership and oversight for JSX's company-wide project portfolio, creating the governance, standards, and operating rhythms needed to move strategic initiatives from idea to execution. You'll establish and mature JSX's project portfolio governance, own the systems and methodologies used to manage projects, and provide leadership with clear visibility into priorities, resources, risks, budgets, and overall portfolio health. You'll also lead and develop Project Managers while partnering closely with leaders across the organization to ensure projects remain aligned with business priorities and deliver measurable results.
Beyond traditional project management, you'll help JSX evaluate investments, improve business processes, develop meaningful KPIs, and support executive-level planning and Board communications.
This role is based at JSX Headquarters in Dallas, TX and is required to be in-office 4 days/week.
A Day in the LifeIn this role, you'll:
- Provide oversight and guidance for strategic projects and programs across JSX.
- Establish and mature company-wide project portfolio governance, including project intake, prioritization, project phases, health and status reporting, and review cadence.
- Own and administer JSX's project portfolio tracking system and drive consistent project execution across departments.
- Define and maintain PMO standards, templates, methodologies, and best practices, driving adoption throughout the organization.
- Provide portfolio-level visibility into capacity, resources, dependencies, and competing priorities to support project intake and assignment decisions.
- Lead, coach, and develop Project Managers, reinforcing strong project management practices and accountability.
- Plan, track, and communicate project deliverables, resources, schedules, budgets, risks, and overall health to project owners and stakeholders.
- Identify and escalate potential timing, resource, scope, or budget concerns before they become barriers to successful execution.
- Partner with Finance to develop business cases and financial analyses that support project investment decisions.
- Build strong partnerships across departments and provide hands-on project management support when needed to advance critical initiatives.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to maintain clear communication, accountability, and continuous progress.
- Support departments in developing KPIs that measure project outcomes and business impact.
- Document and analyze internal processes to identify opportunities for greater efficiency, scalability, and financial savings.
- Support executive leadership in developing materials that communicate business results, strategic initiatives, and future plans to the Board of Directors.
- Support executive leadership on strategic projects and initiatives requiring structured planning and cross-functional coordination.

Required Experience- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Aviation, or a related field.
- 5-7+ years of progressive project or program management experience, including direct people leadership and/or portfolio management responsibilities.
- Experience managing complex, cross-functional business projects and working directly with senior leadership.
- Demonstrated experience with project prioritization, planning, resource coordination, risk management, budgeting, and stakeholder communication.
- Experience leading teams and influencing stakeholders across multiple functions and organizational levels.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to navigate competing priorities.
- Strong written, verbal, and executive-level communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using project management or portfolio management tools.
- Ability to operate independently and effectively in a complex, fast-paced, and evolving environment.
Preferred Experience- Experience establishing or maturing a PMO, project portfolio governance model, or enterprise project management function.
- Experience developing project intake, prioritization, portfolio reporting, capacity planning, and standardized project methodologies.
- Experience with project management tools, methodologies, and industry best practices.
- Experience developing business cases, process improvements, KPIs, and executive or Board-level reporting.
- Airline or aviation industry experience, including exposure to Part 121 or Part 135 operations.
- Aviation-related degree or technology/systems background.
- PMP certification.
- Lean, Six Sigma, or other process optimization certification.

Compensation Range:$100,500.0 - $125,600.0
