Full Job Description
THE ROLE:

At AMD, we push the boundaries of innovation to solve the world's most important challenges. As the Senior Platform Program Management & Operations within the Compute & Enterprise AI Solutions (CEAIS) Customer Engineering organization, you will play a critical role in supporting the Customer Platform Engineering team and enabling execution excellence across the organization.

Partnering closely with the Director of Customer Platform Engineering and leaders across the U.S.-based Platform Engineering organization, you will drive the operational foundation that enables effective customer support, deployment readiness, and customer enablement activities. Through structured operating rhythms, metrics, dashboards, operational reviews, and governance processes, you will help ensure visibility, accountability, and execution across key organizational priorities while coordinating closely with Customer Program Management, Debug, Asia teams, and broader Customer Engineering organizations.

You build strong partnerships across engineering, program management, and customer-facing organizations, and are comfortable working across globally distributed teams. With a data-driven mindset and passion for continuous improvement, you leverage metrics, operational insights, and disciplined execution to improve organizational effectiveness and enable customer success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead operational excellence for the Customer Platform Engineering organization through structured operating rhythms, governance processes, and execution management.


  • Establish and manage organizational operating cadences including customer enablement reviews, operational reviews, and other customer update forums.


  • Drive preparation and execution of weekly internal Customer Forum reviews by consolidating customer enablement status, key issues, deployment readiness, risks, and organizational priorities across Platform Engineering and broader Customer Engineering teams.


  • Serve as the central coordination point for customer enablement status, operational updates, issue tracking, and execution reviews across Platform Engineering, Customer Program Management, Debug, Asia teams, and broader Customer Engineering organizations.


  • Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and key performance indicators that provide visibility into customer enablement activities, deployment readiness, issue management, and overall organizational health.


  • Monitor execution against organizational priorities and customer commitments, facilitating progress reviews and driving resolution of key risks, dependencies, issues, and action items.


  • Lead issue, risk, dependency, and escalation management processes, ensuring timely communication, coordination, and resolution across stakeholders.


  • Partner across Platform Engineering, Customer Program Management, Debug, Asia teams, and broader Customer Engineering organizations to ensure alignment, visibility, and execution across customer engagements and strategic initiatives.


  • Drive process improvements, governance frameworks, and operational best practices that improve efficiency, accountability, organizational effectiveness, and execution quality.


  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations that support leadership decision-making and improve organizational performance.


PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Deep experience in Technical Program Management, Engineering Operations, Customer Engineering, Program Management, or related disciplines.


  • Expertise in driving operational excellence within technical organizations and coordinating cross-functional initiatives.


  • Experience supporting engineering teams focused on datacenter infrastructure, AI systems, cloud computing, enterprise platforms, HPC, or semiconductor technologies.


  • Demonstrated success establishing operating rhythms, governance frameworks, execution management processes, and performance measurement systems.


  • Experience supporting customer-facing engineering organizations and coordinating execution across globally distributed teams.


  • Strong experience developing metrics, KPIs, dashboards, executive reporting, and data-driven insights that support operational decision-making.


  • Proven ability to influence across organizations and drive alignment among diverse technical and business stakeholders.


  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills with a continuous improvement mindset.


ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
