Job Summary

Senior Planner develops and maintains detailed production and material plans to support on-time delivery, efficient resource utilization, and inventory optimization within the electrical manufacturing environment. Implements processes to balance demand, capacity, and supply chain constraints while meeting customer and business requirements. Assesses production needs and material availability to determine scheduling priorities and mitigate potential bottlenecks. Confers with production, procurement, logistics, and engineering teams to resolve planning conflicts and align on operational goals. Acts as a resource for colleagues by applying advanced planning methods and data analysis to improve forecast accuracy and workflow efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to meet customer demands and company targets.
  • Monitor production progress and adjust plans as necessary to address delays or changes.
  • Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and manufacturing teams to ensure materials and resources are available.
  • Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout the production process.
  • Communicate schedule changes and priorities to relevant stakeholders.
  • Forecast inventory needs and manage stock levels to minimize shortages or excess.
  • Prepare reports on production performance and present findings to management.
  • Support the implementation of new production technologies and processes.
  • Mentor junior planners and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

    Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree

    Specialized Degree: Industrial engineering, business, or other related field.
