Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Senior Planner to play a critical role in driving the success of our manufacturing operations. This position will lead planning activities across production materials and inventory, while partnering closely with our operations, quality, and safety teams to ensure we meet our production goals.
This position is a key member of the Sensient team, where you will be required to push boundaries in the office on site in Amboy, IL, 5 days per week.
What you'll do:
- Lead production, material, and inventory planning to support customer demand and plant objectives.
- Develop and optimize production schedules while balancing inventory, material, and operational priorities.
- Analyze and enter data in ERP system/Excel to drive planning decisions.
- Partner with Production, Supply Chain, EHS, and Quality departments to ensure we deliver product to our customers on time and in full.
- Communicate with internal and external customers.
- Investigate and resolve rejected raw material issues, accounting problems and receiving issues.
What you will bring:
- Experience in production planning and/or supply chain management preferred.
- Prior manufacturing experience with a strong understanding of production planning, inventory management, and manufacturing operations.
- Strong analytical skills, with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead teams and collaborate effectively across functions.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related analytical field such as Finance, Management, Statistics, Technology, Supply Chain, or Operations preferred.

The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $118,000 USD. Pay within the range is based on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, education, work experience, specialized training, and labor market conditions.
