The annual base salary for this position ranges from $84,700.00 in our lowest geographic market to $167,100.00 in our highest geographic market. Actual salary will vary based on a candidate's location, qualifications, skills and experience.

SENIOR PLANNER, WHOLESALE PLANNING INTERNATIONAL – CONVERSE

BOSTON, MA, Converse HQ

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
The International Planning team drives the Converse business across global markets outside the United States and China. This role sits within the Partner Market portfolio, working closely with a Boston-based Lead Planner and reporting to the International Planning Director in the Netherlands. The team collaborates daily with Finance, Product, Supply Chain, and Growth teams worldwide.

The ideal candidate brings strong commercial instincts, deep retail math capability, and the confidence to influence across functions and regions. They are comfortable navigating complexity, partnering globally, and translating insights into clear plans that drive growth, profitability, and inventory health. This planner balances rigor with agility—able to forecast precisely, adapt quickly, and communicate clearly with internal teams and external partners alike.
They are fluent in Excel, grounded in planning fundamentals, and energized by collaboration. Experience working with wholesale or distributor markets, particularly in an international context, will set them apart.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You’ll own marketplace planning across international Partner Markets, driving demand, margin, and inventory health through disciplined forecasting and end-to-end planning. You’ll partner cross-functionally to shape seasonal plans, manage risk, and keep the business on track.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead open-to-buy execution across marketplace and sport, aligned to global planning standards
  • Build and manage seasonal merchandise financial plans in partnership with Merchandising, Commercial, and Finance teams
  • Develop detailed forecasts and set seasonal targets for retail sales, inventory, and orderbook
  • Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly business updates against plan, trend, and forecast
  • Identify risks and opportunities across sales, inventory, shipments, and revenue to inform near- and long-term decisions
  • Collaborate across channels to unlock shared inventory and profitability opportunities
  • Partner with Planning Analytics to enhance reporting, tools, and operational visibility
  • Represent Planning in external partner discussions as needed
