Senior Ping Identity Engineer - Remote

We are seeking a Senior Ping Identity Engineer to join a critical Identity & Access Management initiative focused on completing an enterprise Ping Identity implementation and supporting a large-scale IAM migration effort.

This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on Ping Identity consultant who enjoys stepping into complex environments, assessing existing implementations, identifying gaps, and driving technical execution through completion. The engagement will involve partnering with technical and business stakeholders to stabilize, enhance, and expand an enterprise Ping Identity ecosystem while supporting ongoing migration and modernization efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess existing Ping Identity environments and identify remaining implementation activities
• Complete configuration and deployment efforts across development and production environments
• Support enterprise IAM migration initiatives and application onboarding efforts
• Configure and support PingFederate, PingAccess, PingOne, PingDirectory, and related technologies
• Troubleshoot authentication, federation, token, certificate, and access-related issues
• Configure and support SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect (OIDC) integrations
• Partner with engineering teams and stakeholders to develop migration strategies and implementation plans
• Document configurations, implementation decisions, operational procedures, and best practices
• Provide technical guidance around Ping Identity architecture, administration, and future platform growth

Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years of hands-on Ping Identity experience
• Strong experience with PingFederate
• Experience with PingAccess
• Experience with PingOne and/or PingDirectory
• Experience implementing and supporting enterprise SSO and federation solutions
• Strong knowledge of SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect (OIDC)
• Experience configuring IdP/SP connections, authentication policies, and attribute mappings
• Experience standing up and supporting enterprise Ping Identity environments
• Experience troubleshooting authentication, federation, token, and certificate-related issues
• Experience integrating Ping solutions with Active Directory, Entra ID, and LDAP
• Experience supporting IAM migrations and transformation initiatives
• Ability to quickly assess existing environments and work independently with minimal oversight
• Strong communication, consulting, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous Okta-to-Ping migration experience
• PingID implementation experience
• Office 365 migration experience
• SiteMinder migration experience
• Terraform, Ansible, Python, or Bash scripting experience
• Experience supporting large enterprise environments
• Consulting or professional services background
• Experience estimating level of effort and supporting project-based delivery models

This role is best suited for a senior consultant who combines deep Ping Identity expertise with strong problem-solving skills, client-facing communication abilities, and a track record of successfully delivering complex IAM implementations and migrations.
