Position Overview:

The Senior People Partner will serve as a key member of the People & Culture team, partnering with leaders, managers, and employees of our largest business unit to deliver exceptional people support and execute key HR initiatives, as well as boots on the ground support. As a visible, hands-on partner, this role builds trusted relationships, provides guidance on a broad range of people matters, and anticipates workforce needs. Additionally, this role will support the full employee lifecycle, partnering with the business on employee relations, performance management, employee engagement, talent acquisition, talent development, compensation, promotions, and year-end performance processes while helping create a positive, high-performing workplace.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as an on-site resource on all aspects of HR people operations, including employee relations, learning and development, talent, acquisition, compensation and rewards, and employee experience.
  • Serve as the first point of contact and expertise for assigned department people operations and functions.
  • Provide HR support to people across the departments delivering efficient and effective solutions to employee questions on all HR topics, triage to HR colleagues for functional HR subject matter expertise as needed.
  • Partner with experts in benefits, compensation, talent acquisition and payroll as well as other People Partners and across all functions of HR department centers of excellence.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to employees in the interpretation of HR policies and procedures and assist in resolution of issues. Interpret, coach, and enforce Company policies and procedures for consistency and compliance.
  • Be proactive and identify solutions to recurring workplace issues or concerns by collecting/interpreting data as well as relying on personal observation as input into this process.
  • Assist in interpreting major HR initiatives in collaboration with other HR functional areas (i.e., Salary Planning, Performance Management Processes, Employee Engagement).
  • Manage a diverse set of company-wide HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Manage the employee exit process, analyzing turnover to detect trends. Conduct exit interviews to assess and gain feedback.
  • Proactively share client business knowledge with other HR functions.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of related HR experience, focused in the business partner, employee relations, or other HR functional areas.
  • Experience working with various employee types (e.g. Full-time, Union, Project, Contractors).
  • Ability to build and develop relationships at every level, including ability to influence decision making and decision makers.
  • Business acuity and excellent Human Resources knowledge.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional judgment, empathy, listening and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively when resolving issues and concerns.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as well as autonomously.
  • Basic knowledge of employment compliance requirements.

Pay Range: $130k - $145k USD
