Full Job Description
Position Summary:

The Senior People Business Partner serves as a key HR partner to a business unit, handling employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning while coaching managers and resolving workplace issues. This role also combines strategic partnership with hands-on HR operations, overseeing leave of absence processes, compliance audits, and HRIS administration, and using data to inform decisions. The ideal candidate is a strategic, detail-oriented HR professional with strong judgment and interpersonal skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

o Serve as the primary point of contact for your business unit on employee relations, providing guidance, coaching, and resolution.

o Partner with department leaders on workforce planning, policy implementation, and employee relations concerns.

o Conduct investigations as needed and recommend appropriate actions to resolve workplace issues.

o Build strong relationships across all levels, coach managers on performance issues, and stay current on business unit trends and initiatives.

o Co-manage the performance review process, including systems, stakeholder support, and communication.

o Develop, co-manage, and maintain people manager training.

o Manage global LOA processes end-to-end, ensuring documentation and legal/policy compliance.

o Coordinate leave schedules and records with payroll; advise employees on LOA policies and track trends.

o Partner with Sales Operations and the Sales department to manage and maintain up-to-date, compliant sales agreements.

o Conduct formal audits and partner with internal/external auditors on SOC, SOX, financial, and security audits (annual and quarterly).

o Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations globally.

o Serve as subject matter expert on the HRIS platform, Paylocity.

o Utilize HR data to generate reports, analytics, and insights that drive data-informed decisions; assist with general HR reporting needs.

o Assist in full-cycle change management processes to support employees through transitions, and support international onboarding and offboarding.

o Manage mail and new hire swag.

Minimum Education & Experience Qualifications:

o Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications are a plus.

o 6+ years of experience in HR Business Partnering, with a track record of strategic partnership with business leaders.

o Excellent project management and organizational skills.

o Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

o Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and work collaboratively with diverse teams.

o Demonstrated discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment when handling sensitive and confidential information.

o Self-motivated and proactive, with strong problem-solving skills and a bias toward action.

o Demonstrates sound judgment and emotional intelligence, with the confidence to voice concerns constructively.

o Complexity & Problem Solving: Understands and works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, evaluating, adapting of complex techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Work is reviewed upon completion and is consistent with departmental objectives.

o Collaboration & Interaction: Networks with key contacts outside their own area of expertise. Adapts style and uses persuasion in delivering messages that relate to the wider firm business. Frequently advises others on complex matters. May be accountable through the team for delivery of tactical business targets.
