Pumpkin is seeking a Senior Partnerships Account Manager who is results-oriented and ready to transform potential opportunities into a predictable, scalable revenue stream, crucial to the company's growth strategy. In this role, you will lead the full partner lifecycle—from initial launch to long-term account management—to drive sustainable revenue and establish our brand as a premier pet wellness brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Prospecting & Pitching: Identify and reach out to potential partners. Tailor pitches (and create additional collateral as needed) that highlight our brand and product’s unique value proposition.
- Pipeline & CRM Management: Maintain a rigorous and organized sales pipeline, ensuring every lead is tracked from initial contact to the final signature, all the way to launch and performance monitoring.
- Contract Process Management: Coordinate closely with the Head of Commercial & Strategy, Finance and Legal throughout the contracting process.
- Partnership Launch Accountability: Coordinate with relevant teams (product, design, engineering, marketing, data) to ensure partnership launches are on time, on brand, and fully supported on the site and through integrations
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Establish KPIs for every partnership with partner and internal stakeholders to ensure continuous performance and improvement. Provide regular data-driven reports to stakeholders, identifying areas for optimization and renewal.
- Relationship Stewardship: Act as the primary point of contact for new and existing partners, nurturing long-term loyalty through proactive communication and quarterly business reviews.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of inside sales and/or account management experience, ideally in a B2B or B2B2C environment
- Previous experience engaging with prospects at all levels of the sales funnel through virtual sales calls
- Possess a strong phone presence, utilizing active listening skills and a consultative approach to have meaningful conversations
- Adaptable and comfortable navigating change, with the ability to thrive in less established or formalized environments
- Demonstrated proficiency in closing skills, with a strong focus on securing the next meeting, action, or commitment from clients
- Experience with digital and social selling tactics to continuously engage clients and build brand awareness in the market
- Comfortable operating with ambiguity and making choices to move forward independently or with limited oversight
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
