This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of our key technology and consulting partners. Together they provide our customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges.
As the Partner Business Value Programs Support, you will support the conceptualization, development and operation of specific programs that help partners accelerate their AWS business. You will work cross-functionally with AWS partner and technical teams to build and run mechanisms focused on tracking success, mapping back to partner generated opportunities in SFDC systems. You will enable partners into AWS Partner and Customer Success tools, and provide relevant data back to partners. You will also manage the implementation and processing of incentives as needed.. The ideal candidate is experienced with program development, cross functional relationships, management, reporting, training and communicating to a variety of audiences and is highly organized. You must thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key job responsibilities
- Support the Partner Success Programs Lead working directly with partners to implement and operate strategic projects related to business value realization (BVR), in order to deliver against program goals.
- Enable partners on the program and AWS systems via both 1:1 sessions and creating scale content.
- Support BVR scaling mechanisms to increase automation and data clarity and accuracy[CB1.1]
- Work with cross functional groups including AWS Partner Network (APN), Training, Business Development and solutions architecture to leverage enablement programs that allow strategic partners to develop capabilities and achieve proficiency according to AWS competency standards.
- Operationalize programs in desired geography including program adoption, reporting, and problem resolution.
- Work with subject matter experts, partners, and other stakeholders to develop internal content that meets audience and program requirements in creative and engaging ways.
- Develop and mature mechanisms to deeply understand customer and partner needs, gaps, and opportunities
- Develop and track key performance metrics; and report effectiveness of program
- Drive program implementation with internal and external stakeholders; proactively communicate with senior and executive level stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to improve our internal tools and processes, including driving automation of repeatable work
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience using MS Office suite (particularly Excel)
- Proven experience supporting multi-vertical, global businesses
- 7+ years of experience in Business Planning, Operations, Strategy, Finance, Business Development, or other related fields
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations, including sales, marketing, business development and training
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working in a high-tech environment
- Knowledge of the AWS product suite
- MBA or equivalent relevant business experience
- Experience working with/for Systems Integrators or ISVs and knowing the market landscape
- Experience working with SFDC, including creating new reports
- Experience working cross-functionally in a multi-geo organization
- Working experience of scaling via AI and automation
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
