Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator in enterprise-scale environments.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle 12c/19c, Oracle RAC, Data Guard, GoldenGate, and RMAN.
• Proven experience in migrating databases between data centers or to cloud platforms.
• Skilled in scripting and automation using Shell, PL/SQL, with familiarity in Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working with technical and business teams.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute Oracle database migrations between on-premises data centers and to the cloud (OCI, AWS).
• Design and maintain high availability and disaster recovery solutions using Oracle Data Guard, GoldenGate, and RAC.
• Tune and optimize database performance with AWR/ASH reports, SQL tuning, and PL/SQL best practices.
• Act as a functional DBA, providing support for development, QA, and production environments.
• Collaborate closely with Agile teams including Scrum Masters, developers, QA, and business stakeholders.
• Provide operational support for over 1,400 business applications relying on Oracle databases.
• Create and maintain database monitoring and automation solutions using OEM, Shell scripting, and PL/SQL.
• Implement and maintain data security, auditing, and compliance controls (HIPAA, SOX, GDPR).
• Participate in on-call rotation, leading incident triage and supporting root cause analysis and resolution.
