Full-Time Senior Operational Analyst - J8 On-site

Washington, DC

Position Overview The Senior Operational Analyst will primarily support the Capabilities Assessment Branch and be responsible for understanding, interpreting, and coordinating requirements for the Nimble Fire and JRICM exercises, as they pertain to Service, Agency, and Combatant Command requirements related to specific capabilities. This position will coordinate subject matter expertise in operational concepts, architectures, and analytic methods.
Essential Job Function
  • Understand, interpret, and coordinate requirements for Nimble Fire and JRICM exercises as they pertain to Service, Agency, and Combatant Command requirements
  • Coordinate subject matter expertise in operational concepts, architectures, and analytic methods
  • Assist the Government in the planning, management, and execution of Nimble Fire exercises
  • Assist the Government in the planning, management, and execution of JRICM studies
  • Execute the Government's vision in coordination with Nimble Fire execution partners in the planning and execution of two (2) events per year
  • Act as a liaison between JIAMDO and the military services and Missile Defense Agency supporting Nimble Fire events
  • Support reviews of modeling and simulations, exercises and demonstrations, and data analysis to evaluate emerging IAMD systems
Minimum Qualifications
  • Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility
  • Master's degree
  • At least ten (10) years of professional experience within IAMD or a related area
  • Minimum of five (5) years supporting the Joint Staff, OSD, Service HQ, or CCMD HQ
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Nimble Fire or JRICM exercises
  • Familiarity with operational concepts, architectures, and analytic methods in the IAMD domain
  • Experience coordinating with military services and Missile Defense Agency
