Under the supervision of the Supervisor or Management, the Technical Specialist plans, directs and coordinates all technical activities performed in the division of technical expertise/practice. The Technical Specialist is responsible for all quality and technical functions for that specific division.

Required Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited program in the area of technical expertise.
  • Upon hire: California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification.
  • Upon hire: National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or
    • Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • 4 years' experience as a technologist in the area of expertise in a hospital setting or Imaging Center.
  • Technical experience in hospital/healthcare environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5 years' experience as a technologist in the specified field.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
