Job DescriptionResponsible for performing patient scans under the supervision of a nuclear medicine physician. Duties include calculating radioisotope dosages for administration to patients, operating radioscopic equipment, and practicing strict radiation safety.
Required Qualifications:- Coursework/Training: Completion of an accredited nuclear medicine training program.
- Upon hire: California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification.
- Upon hire: National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or
- Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology.
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
- 6 months experience during the last year, or a minimum of 2 years full-time experience with an absence from nuclear medicine of no more than 1 year.
Preferred Qualifications:- 1 year experience in nuclear medicine (not required if recent graduate from an approved technologist training program).

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
