Full Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Murex Technical Production Support Analyst to support Equity Derivatives trading environments. The role is responsible for ensuring production stability across the Murex MX.3 platform and providing first- and second-line support for user issues, trade capture problems, pricing discrepancies, risk gaps, workflow failures, and system incidents. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical troubleshooting skills, hands-on Murex support experience, and the ability to manage incidents through triage, diagnosis, escalation, and resolution.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide front-line production support for Murex MX.3 across pricing, risk, trade capture, workflows, market data, and interfaces.
• Own incident triage, impact assessment, root cause analysis, escalation, resolution, and follow-up remediation.
• Monitor logs, dashboards, schedulers, RTS feeds, and batch processes to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Troubleshoot pricing inconsistencies, risk and sensitivity gaps, trade enrichment failures, and interface delays.
• Analyze Murex logs and troubleshoot application and system performance issues.
• Manage and track vendor cases, including evidence gathering, reproduction steps, and validation of fixes.
• Collaborate with internal support teams and vendors to resolve complex production issues.
• Support production releases, emergency changes, and maintenance activities with pre- and post-deployment validation.
• Troubleshoot Murex orchestration, services, process flows, and End-of-Day (EOD) jobs.
• Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge articles to improve operational efficiency and reduce recurring incidents.
• Develop and support automation using Python and/or Unix shell scripting.
• Contribute to monitoring, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen platform stability.

Required Qualifications
• 10+ years of overall IT experience.
• 5+ years of Front Office Trading Technology support experience.
• Strong hands-on experience supporting Murex MX.3 in production environments.
• Experience with Murex modules including eTradepad, Pricing, Simulation, Livebook, and Workflow.
• Experience with Murex market data components including MDCS, RTBS, MDRS, and MDIT.
• Strong Murex log analysis and performance troubleshooting experience.
• Strong Unix/Linux-based production support experience.
• Experience with Python and/or Unix shell scripting.
• Good understanding of Murex orchestration, services, process flows, and EOD job troubleshooting.
• SQL experience with Sybase, SQL Server, Oracle, or similar relational databases.
• Understanding of Equity Derivatives products and Greeks.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure production support environment.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong automation and continuous improvement mindset.

Preferred Qualifications
• 3+ years of Murex MX.3 production support experience.
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog, or ITRS.
• Familiarity with enterprise schedulers such as Tidal, AutoSys, or Control-M.
• Experience with Incident, Problem, and Change Management tools such as ServiceNow.
