About The Role:- We are looking for a Senior Mobile Systems Engineer with client-server experiences.
Job Title: Senior Mobile Systems Engineer
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement software systems spanning wearable devices, iPhone Operating System [IOS]/Android mobile applications, and distributed backend services
- Strong understanding of memory management, resource ownership, race conditions and deadlock preventions
- Debug race conditions, thread-safety issues, and complex concurrency issues
- Optimize Central Processing Unit [CPU], memory, latency and system reliabilities.
Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field required
- Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience
- Experience building mobile products in Kotlin or Swift with distributed backends
- Experience in multithreaded, event-driven systems for Concurrency and Async programming
- System Engineering experience including Architecture design, performance optimization and system reliability improvements
Preferred Qualifications:- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related field preferred
- Experience building wearable products (glasses, watches, Mixed Reality [MR] headsets, etc.)
- Proficient system programing in either C++ or Rust programming language
- Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning [AI/ML] Engineering including Large Language Model [LLM] prompt tuning, evaluation, tool calling, and agent workflows
Location: Onsite in any of these locations in USA [Burlingame, CA or Sunnyvale, CA or Menlo Park, CA or New York, NY]
Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $156,000 - $214,032 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
