Geocgi is seeking a Senior Microsoft 365 Cloud Specialist to support the American Battle Monuments Commission (ABMC) in the administration, modernization, and security of its Microsoft cloud environment. This role will serve as a senior technical resource responsible for managing Microsoft 365 services, Azure cloud infrastructure, identity and access management, endpoint management, and enterprise security. The ideal candidate is passionate about cloud technologies, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and thrives in a collaborative environment supporting enterprise modernization initiatives. This role will be performed in a Hybrid environment local to the Washington DC Metro.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer, configure, and support Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and related collaboration platforms.
  • Manage Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory), identity governance, authentication, Conditional Access, and identity lifecycle management.
  • Administer Microsoft Intune and endpoint management solutions to support enterprise device management and compliance.
  • Configure, manage, and optimize Microsoft Azure cloud resources supporting enterprise applications and services.
  • Monitor tenant health, security posture, and system performance while recommending improvements and modernization opportunities.
  • Implement Microsoft security best practices utilizing Microsoft Defender, security baselines, and identity protection capabilities.
  • Support cloud migrations, tenant configuration, and Microsoft 365 service enhancements.
  • Develop technical documentation, operational procedures, and system architecture documentation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and recommend scalable cloud solutions that support business objectives.
  • Troubleshoot complex Microsoft cloud issues and provide Tier III technical support.
  • Support enterprise integrations utilizing Microsoft Graph, REST APIs, and cloud-based services.
  • Maintain current Microsoft certifications and remain knowledgeable of emerging Microsoft cloud technologies.

The following are requirements of the Senior Microsoft 365 Cloud Specialist:
  • U.S. Citizen
  • Ability to obtain ABMC Tier 1 Suitability.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience administering Microsoft 365 and Azure enterprise environments.
  • Extensive experience administering Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Experience administering Microsoft Intune and enterprise endpoint management.
  • Experience implementing Microsoft security solutions, identity management, and Conditional Access policies.
  • Experience supporting Azure cloud services and enterprise cloud administration.
  • Experience supporting enterprise cloud environments within federal or similarly regulated organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft cloud security, governance, compliance, and identity management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Current Microsoft 365 or Azure Administration certification.
  • Current Microsoft Security or Identity certification.

The following are preferred of the Senior Microsoft 365 Cloud Specialist:
  • Experience supporting Dynamics 365 and Power Platform environments.
  • Experience with Microsoft Graph API and enterprise integrations.
  • Experience supporting Zero Trust architectures.
  • Experience supporting cloud modernization initiatives.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert, or equivalent certifications.
  • CompTIA Sec+

The annual base salary range for this position is anticipated to be $120,000 $160,000 USD. The listed salary range represents our good faith estimate for this position.
