Full Job Description
The Senior Operations Manager is responsible for driving the highest level of safety, quality and customer satisfaction. This position will oversee day-to-day operations, quality and safety functions. The manager will align key performance indicators to business and customer goals. The manager will partner with the General Manager, ASRaymond, to align operational strategy to the overall business strategy. The Senior Operations Manager will lead cost-reduction and continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality, reduce costs and improve overall efficiency of the Maumee site. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities

Operational Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement operational policies, procedures and systems that align with long-term company objectives
  • Develop operational roadmaps for the ASRaymond business including capital investments, IT projects, and product line make vs buy decisions
  • Identify inefficiencies in workflows and logistics, and implement continuous improvement frameworks
  • Lead for cost-out initiatives and operational efficiency projects


Execution & Delivery

  • Lead cross functional teams to deliver safety, quality, and financial results to meet yearly budgets.
  • Establish operational excellence (OTD, customer response time, quality and return processes etc.).
  • Improve customer satisfaction through improved on-time delivery, quality and communication with strategic customers.
  • Coach and manage the operations, safety, continuous improvement and quality teams, fostering a high-performance culture


Cash Management

  • Manage and control annual operational budgets, including labor, outside services, and MRO spend.
  • Plan and control Capex spend and timing, aligning with business goals and annual budget
  • Reduce Working Capital through collaboration with the supply chain team to reduce inventory and improve quality to aid in reduction past due A/R


Risk & Issue Management

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to meet annual budget and long-term investment model
  • Ensure the site complies with all local, state, and federal labor, environmental, and industry-specific regulations.
  • Track issues and escalate when necessary
  • Change management of process, tools and teams
