Senior Metallurgical Engineer, you will work within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to planning and executing studies and detailed engineering for new processing plants as well as upgrades to existing facilities.

Senior Metallurgical Engineer in our ERI Metals and Mining group, you will work within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to planning and executing studies and detailed engineering for new processing plants as well as upgrades to existing facilities. Ideally this position will be located out of one of our
GTA offices, preferably Etobicoke.
Your Impact- Identify client needs and contribute to proposals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to define project needs and present technical information, concepts, and study outcomes.
- Establish design criteria, develop mass balances, define process flow diagrams, size and select process equipment, and prepare piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
- Develop laboratory test programs, oversee their execution, and analyze resulting data.
- Prepare capital and operating cost estimates.
- Review and produce tender packages, technical specifications, and related engineering documents.
- Act as a Qualified Person (QP) for technical reports.
- Provide supervision and guidance to technicians, drafters, and junior metallurgists.
- Assist project managers and team leads as required.
- Carry out other related tasks that support market growth and successful project delivery.
The Skills That Set You Apart- Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
- 15+ years of relevant experience in metallurgical processes.
- Current P.ENG license.
- Experience in consulting engineering companies (an asset).
- Strong initiative, attention to detail, and a rigorous work approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively and share expertise across teams.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Bilingualism (English/French, an asset).
Compensation- AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $135,200 - $179,100
- MB & ON: $123,300 - $169,800
- NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $114,900 - $154,800
