Senior Medical Technologist- Molecular on site We are currently seeking a Senior Medical Technologist to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Senior Medical Technologist at ICON, you will play a critical role in conducting complex laboratory analyses and tests to support clinical trials and research studies. You will ensure the accuracy and reliability of laboratory results while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives and maintain high-quality standards.
What You Will Be Doing:- Performing advanced laboratory tests and analyses in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements.
- Overseeing laboratory operations, including sample processing, equipment maintenance, and quality control procedures to ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
- Collaborating with clinical research teams to support study design and implement laboratory methods that align with project goals.
- Interpreting and validating test results, providing technical expertise, and troubleshooting any laboratory issues that may arise.
- Training and mentoring junior laboratory staff, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the laboratory environment.
- Participating in the development and implementation of laboratory protocols, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory compliance.
- Assisting with audits and inspections by providing documentation and demonstrating adherence to laboratory standards and practices.
- Staying current with advances in laboratory technologies and methodologies, ensuring the laboratory employs cutting-edge practices.
Your Profile:- Bachelor's degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or a related field. An advanced degree or relevant certification (e.g., ASCP, AMT) is a plus. NYS Clinical Lab License required.
- Extensive experience in a clinical laboratory setting, with a strong understanding of laboratory operations and quality assurance processes.
- Proven ability to perform complex laboratory tests and analyses, with expertise in specific areas of medical technology.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory results.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and electronic medical records (EMR).
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and ethical practices in laboratory operations.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and participate in on-call responsibilities as needed.

Salary range: $91,336.00-$114,170.00
