We're looking for a motivated and technically strong Senior Engineering Designer with strong communication skills and a collaborative, client-focused approach to join our Commercial (Base Buildings) team. In this role, you'll support base building projects across a diverse commercial portfolio, working in a fast-paced, highly interactive environment. In this role, you'll work closely with a Senior Manager and experienced team members who bring deep industry knowledge and mentorship. You'll apply your mechanical engineering expertise and project management skills across a diverse portfolio of commercial projects. Working with a technically strong team, you'll evaluate design options, consider constructability, and coordinate closely with architects, engineers, clients, and other stakeholders to support smooth project delivery. WHAT YOU'LL DO: 3 Established and productive individual contributor 3 Prepares plans, designs, engineering calculations and cost estimates for more complex projects generally involving three or more drawings and multiple trades 3 Assesses design constructability and makes edits to existing design specifications with support and guidance from more senior engineers 3 Manages and prioritizes own project activities in order to meet project deadlines for all assigned tasks 3 Develops standards and reports with support and guidance from more senior engineers 3 Effectively applies tools and methodologies used for product and service delivery (e.g. AutoCad. TOTAL REWARDS The expected salary for this role is between $75,000 to $95,000 annually. Base salaries are determined considering several factors such as skills and competencies, experience, education, and internal and external competitiveness.
