Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in mechanical systems for data centers or industrial environments.
• Proficient understanding of hydronic systems, heat transfer, and various cooling methods.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as P&IDs and construction specs.
• Hands-on site inspection and commissioning experience is essential.
• Knowledge of mechanical redundancy and operational risk management.
• Familiarity with construction safety practices and procedures.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as the mechanical engineering owner during project lifecycle from construction to commissioning.
• Conduct walkdowns to ensure mechanical system compliance with approved designs.
• Inspect and validate various mechanical installations and conditions at the site.
• Document installation issues and initiate resolution to punch-list items.
• Witness all critical testing and validation phases for commissioned systems.
• Develop detailed startup and safety procedure documentation.
• Mentor and provide leadership to less experienced engineers during the commissioning process.
