Senior Master Data SpecialistThe Role & Your ImpactAs a strategic expert in Master Data Management (MDM), you will lead enterprise-wide initiatives that modernize master data capabilities, strengthen governance frameworks, and enable business transformation. This is a highly collaborative role that combines strategic leadership, project management, change management, and data governance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead transformation initiatives to modernize master data management tools, processes, and practices.
- Drive process optimization and automation opportunities across master data workflows.
- Ensure master data readiness and alignment during ERP, CRM, and other large-scale system transformations.
- Develop and execute change management strategies that drive adoption of new data processes and governance frameworks.
- Manage high-impact master data projects, including scope definition, stakeholder alignment, and delivery execution.
- Establish and maintain enterprise-wide master data governance standards, policies, and best practices.
- Conduct data quality assessments and implement improvements that increase data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
- Partner with business process owners to ensure governance frameworks support operational and compliance requirements.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on best practices in master data management.
- Mentor and coach junior team members while contributing to the long-term master data strategy of Novonesis.
What You'll Need to Be SuccessfulWe imagine you bring:
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Data Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Master Data Management, Project Management, Data Governance, or a related discipline.
- Strong experience working with ERP, CRM, and/or MDM platforms such as SAP or Salesforce.
- Solid understanding of data governance frameworks, data quality management, and change management methodologies.
- Proven track record of leading complex projects and coordinating cross-functional teams in global organizations.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence decision-making across organizational levels.
- Advanced knowledge of master data domains, including customer, supplier, product, and financial data.
- Analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business challenges into effective data solutions.
- Professional proficiency in English.

- Experience supporting large-scale digital transformation programs.

Compensation & BenefitsBase Salary: $100,000-$120,000 based on experience
