Overview
The Senior Marketing Manager, Digital is a strategic leader responsible for developing and executing integrated, cross-channel marketing programs that drive customer engagement, acquisition, and retention.
This role owns the end-to-end delivery of marketing initiatives-from intake and planning through segmentation, deployment, performance optimization, and reporting-while ensuring alignment with brand standards, risk requirements, and business objectives.
The individual partners closely with Product Marketing, MarTech Operations, Web/Product teams, and business stakeholders to deliver measurable outcomes and a consistent, customer-centric experience.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Strategy & Execution
- Lead cross-channel marketing strategy across website, email, SMS, and personalized digital channels
- Translate business objectives into scalable, data-driven marketing programs
- Ensure consistent messaging and seamless customer journeys across touchpoints
- Leverage advanced capabilities (including AI and personalization) to improve targeting and performance
Intake, Planning & Program Management
- Lead intake and discovery processes to define requirements, priorities, and timelines
- Develop and execute structured marketing plans aligned to business and LOB goals
- Manage multiple campaigns and initiatives simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and execution
Segmentation, Personalization & Customer Strategy
- Own segmentation strategy across lines of business
- Partner with MarTech teams to design and deploy targeting frameworks
- Drive personalization strategies to enhance customer engagement and conversion
- Support cross-sell and deepening of customer relationships across the bank
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Product Marketing and LOB stakeholders to translate business goals into marketing strategies
- Define KPIs and performance targets
- Develop test-and-learn agendas and optimization frameworks
- Collaborate with MarTech, Web, and Analytics teams for execution and optimization
- Support enterprise marketing initiatives and social/channel integration
Performance, Analytics & Optimization
- Monitor and evaluate campaign performance across channels
- Optimize targeting, messaging, and customer journeys using data and insights
- Recommend improvements to marketing programs based on performance analysis
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and test-and-learn
Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to brand standards, marketing guidelines, and approval processes
- Partner with Legal, Risk, and Compliance to secure approvals for marketing materials
- Operate within the Bank's risk framework, ensuring responsible and compliant marketing practices
Budget, Vendor & Operational Management
- Manage marketing budgets and ensure efficient allocation of resources
- Oversee vendor relationships and evaluate performance and effectiveness
- Support execution of marketing programs, promotions, and campaigns across channels
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and develop team members, providing coaching and performance feedback
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment
- Support talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Position may have direct reports. Responsible for fostering a culture of employee engagement by leading impact planning sessions. Providing employees timely, candid and constructive performance feedback. Developing employees to their fullest potential by providing challenging opportunities. Developing the appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning. Recognizing and rewarding employees for accomplishments.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, or customer engagement
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field
- Experience in financial services or regulated industries preferred
- Proven experience managing cross-channel marketing programs

Senior Marketing Manager- Digital
The base salary for this position is reflective of the range of salary levels for all roles within this pay grade across the U.S. Individual salaries within this range will vary based on factors such as role, relevant skillset, relevant experience, education and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan, with any such payment based upon company, line of business and/or individual performance.
