Job Title:Senior Manufacturing EngineerJob Description:In this role you will get to:- Lead development and implementation of enterprise manufacturing standards, best practices, and process frameworks
- Drive waste reduction initiatives through Lean manufacturing, automation, and process optimization
- Serve as a technical leader across multiple sites, supporting continuous improvement and problem-solving efforts
- Develop and standardize work instructions, process documentation, and engineering procedures across the enterprise
- Evaluate and implement new manufacturing technologies, including automation and advanced assembly methods
- Provide hands-on support to production teams, resolving process issues and improving efficiency
- Partner with design engineering to improve design for manufacturability (DFM) and assembly (DFA)
- Lead or support capital equipment selection, justification, and implementation
- Analyze manufacturing performance and drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and cost (SQDIC)
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, quality, supply chain, and leadership teams to ensure alignment across the enterprise
Job Requirements:BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, assembly methods, and production systems
- Proven experience driving process improvements and operational excellence initiatives
- Experience supporting cross-functional teams and influencing across multiple stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to implement sustainable solutions
- Ability to work hands-on in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to travel up to 25% as business needs arise to support enterprise initiatives across Trystar locations
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with fastening systems, torque methodology, and joint reliability
- Background in electromechanical assembly and manufacturing environments
- Experience implementing or supporting automation and advanced manufacturing technologies
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
- Strong project management skills with experience leading multi-site or enterprise initiatives
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, including ability to influence at all levels of the organization
