The role owns financial modeling, valuation analysis, cash flow forecasting, and corporate development support while also advancing venture performance tracking and cross-functional coordination across business units. By spanning both financial and operational disciplines, this position ensures leadership has reliable, actionable insights to drive portfolio health and strategic planning, providing both rigorous financial analysis and strategic insight to inform investment decisions.

Develop scenario and sensitivity analyses that communicate a realistic range of outcomes to leadership.
  • Venture & Portfolio Financial Accountability: Own cash flow forecasting and performance tracking for assigned ventures; identify variance drivers and flag risks before they become surprises. Incorporate market trends, commodity prices, and operational challenges into ongoing financial analysis.
  • Corporate Development & Strategic Planning: Lead and program-manage corporate development activities, including coordination of acquisitions, joint ventures, and partnerships from initial screening through due diligence. Contribute to annual budgeting and strategic planning by translating business unit goals into financial plans and testing the credibility of underlying assumptions. Partner with FP&A to support financial planning and analysis, ensuring alignment between venture performance and broader financial plans.
  • Operational Assessment & Cross-Functional Coordination: Conduct operational assessments that inform portfolio health and strategic planning. Partner with business unit leaders to surface efficiency and profitability opportunities, coordinating across functions to ensure leadership has integrated, actionable insights.
  • Management Reporting & Financial Analysis: Own monthly and quarterly financial reporting for the ventures portfolio. Design and maintain dashboards and KPI tracking tools; deliver analysis with a clear point of view and respond to ad hoc requests as they arise.

  • Experience owning financial models in environments with incomplete data and misaligned stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to support M&A, joint venture, or strategic partnership processes from a financial analysis perspective.
  • Business judgment to translate operational decisions into financial outcomes and hold credible conversations with operators and senior executives.
  • Strong communication skills - ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial audiences without losing substance.
  • Process and relationship skills to reliably obtain data from cross-functional teams with competing priorities.
