What is the opportunity?

As a Senior Manager, Treasury Solutions with RBC's Treasury Solutions Corporate Coverage team, you will be responsible to proactively provide advice and enable clients to leverage RBC's cash management solutions, taking responsibility for clients' onboarding, activation and ongoing adoption of digital solutions. You will manage and grow revenue from a portfolio of complex corporate clients by offering a full suite of cash management solutions. You will execute on the client sales plan, delivering a differentiated client experience by offering cash management solutions focused on meeting clients' business and financial goals to grow relationships, enhance loyalty and drive innovation with our clients.

What will you do?
  • Build relationships and manage revenue growth within a portfolio of clients with a focus on recognizing and supporting client needs, enhancing client loyalty and sharing opportunities for additional RBC products
  • Act as the single point of contact throughout the cash management end-to-end onboarding process, partner with the relationship team and follow up with clients to ensure an exceptional client experience
  • Partner with Relationship Managers to develop a coordinated client contact strategy and to complete annual relationship reviews, ensuring future client needs are identified and met
  • Provide tailored advice and insights to clients on new or emerging issues that will impact their business
  • Lead with a growth mindset, focusing on what's possible to maximize client acquisition, growth and an exceptional client experience
  • Deliver financial and business "Insight" advice through a differentiated value proposition by presenting solutions that clearly articulate the benefits and advantages to the client; help the client to understand alternatives, navigate and implement proposed solutions; and identify opportunities and refer clients to RBC Partners to meet the client's broader advice needs


What do you need to succeed?

Must Have
  • 5+ years of related experience in commercial or corporate banking sales
  • Strong knowledge of cash management products and emerging industry trends
  • Proven client advice/service, sales and relationship management experience with the ability to match client needs with products/structure solutions
  • Demonstrated project management, organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with software applications including MS Office
  • Willingness and ability to travel to meet clients in person


Nice-to-Have
  • Certified Treasury Professional ("CTP") Designation or similar qualification
  • Bilingual communication skills (English/French)
