The Role
Senior Managers can expect to:
- Lead and manage the execution of financial due diligence engagements for clients;
- Identify and help resolve complex transaction risks and issues;
- Prepare and review reports and related analysis and deliverables;
- Effectively communicate with target management teams and client personnel;
- Supervise, train, mentor and evaluate Managers and Seniors Associates;
- Engage in business development activities (i.e. prepare proposals, present in webinars, collaborate with other service lines to market comprehensive tax strategies for prospective clients, etc.); and
- Receive formal training related to Transaction Advisory, on the job training, direct feedback from industry leaders, and the opportunity to pursue additional training through internal and external resources.
The Requirements
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics;
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required, Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or similar, are highly desirable;
- At least 8 years relevant work experience with a Big Four or national consulting firm, including at least 5 years of financial due diligence experience;
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards (i.e., GAAP, IFRS);
- Strong technical knowledge of complex accounting, financial and transactional issues;
- Proven leadership and strong organizational skills;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a natural facilitator;
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills; and
- Proficient use of technology including MS Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI or other analytics software.
