You will serve as a trading domain expert, bringing deep knowledge of self-directed client segments, competitive dynamics, and market trends to inform business decisions. Working across product, technology, operations, and business teams, you will ensure strategic initiatives are set up for success, remain aligned to strategy, and deliver measurable financial results.

  • Drive prioritization decisions and guide cross-functional partners to ensure investment in the right initiatives and alignment to business objectives
  • Lead strategic initiatives and own accountability for delivering business outcomes and P&L results
  • Monitor market trends, competitive dynamics, and client needs across self-directed investor segments to inform strategic recommendations and business cases
  • Partner across product, delivery, technology, operations, risk, and compliance to align stakeholders, remove barriers, and drive initiatives forward

Must have:
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in product strategy, strategy consulting, capital markets, or the investment industry
  • Strong financial modeling skills, including business case development, ROI analysis, and P&L forecasting
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and secure buy-in across organizational partners
  • Proven strategic problem solving skills, including the ability to break down ambiguous, complex problems and translate analysis into action
  • Strong execution mindset with the ability to deliver results in complex, matrixed environments
  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Finance or a related quantitative field
  • Knowledge of investment products and the self-directed investing space; CFA and/or MBA an asset

What's in it for you?

We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper. We care about each other, reaching our potential, making a difference to our communities, and achieving success that is mutual.
  • Shape strategic priorities for one of Canada's leading digital investment platforms in a fast-moving, innovative market
