About the team:
The Marketplace Seller Risk team drives trust and platform integrity by developing advanced technology, tools, and frameworks that enable secure and efficient seller operations. Combining expertise in technology, business strategy, product development, data science, and engineering, the team delivers innovative solutions balancing operational efficiency with risk management. Members collaborate to support long-term marketplace excellence, continuously improving processes aligned with strategic goals. This team fosters a reliable environment for all stakeholders, ensuring sustainable growth and a healthy platform ecosystem through effective program management, stakeholder engagement, and technology-driven risk mitigation.

What you'll do:
  • Lead strategic initiatives focused on scaling the data infrastructure and pipeline architecture across Seller Risk tools.
  • Risk Mitigation for New Technologies: Implement data governance guardrails, lineage tracking, and schema enforcement frameworks for automated risk decisioning systems, ensuring pipeline integrity.
  • Use structured, data-driven problem solving to identify infrastructure bottlenecks and quantify system impact.
  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders to align on data engineering priorities and drive architectural execution.
  • Risk Assessment & Prioritization: Lead technical risk assessments to identify and prioritize data vulnerabilities impacting system latency, platform fairness, and ingestion reliability.

Sunnyvale, California US-11789: The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
