Job Overview: Responsible for the strategy and active roadmap of the IT organization. Lead and manage technology and business systems that enable continued scale and distributed growth. Define and curate metrics to measure the operating effectiveness, efficiency, and security of the company's technology systems and IT services Responsibilities: Ensure compliant IT operations, adequate application and infrastructure portfolio and IT roadmap based on Mercedes-Benz standards Planning, controlling and monitoring of the IT operation and escalation management Responsible for managing and coordinating system updates and enhancements with internal and external stakeholders Manage, motivate and develop staff using target agreements and performance appraisals, founded on our mission statement & corporate values, and providing internal communications in order to achieve the agreed objectives Serves as Information Security Officer (ISO) and Information Security Officer - Automation (ISO-A) ensuring Daimler security policies are implemented and data/information is protected by Cyber Threats. Provides awareness and transparency of security initiatives and policies to the facility Implement definition of roles & responsibilities and ensure continual optimization thereof. Establish and manage the IT-Support organization for the Business areas Ensure that cybersecurity and regulatory requirements are addressed and implemented in the region/entity as required Responsible for implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organization Ensure that all Group and local regulations, guidelines and works agreements, etc. that apply for the area of responsibility are complied with and are applied Contributes to the development and implementation of plant wide strategies Works with suppliers and internal Daimler Shared Services.
