What is the opportunity?

Reporting to the Director, Talent Enablement & Delivery (TED), HR, AI, T&O, you will be a key contributor in supporting alignment between the Human Resources (HR) Centres of Expertise (COEs) and T&O and AI Group Talent Strategies, by managing the operationalization of all HR Activities.

This role will also collaborate closely with our HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and key business enablement teams across AI Group and Technology & Operations (T&O) to translate talent strategy and enquiries into executable plans, drive stakeholder alignment across the business and HR functions and deliver measurable business outcomes that align with talent priorities.

What will you do?
  • Trusted partner for the TED team and the overall HR Team to manage and deliver successful project/initiative outcomes and drive business value.
  • Acts as a key contributor to and executor of Talent Strategies at the platform & group level, aligned to a solid understanding of the Enterprise, T&O and AI Talent Strategies.
  • Collaborates and partners closely with Director, TED team, HRBPs, HR COEs, T&O and AI Group Enablement partners to identify and address talent challenges for both groups. Talent initiatives may include things like Workforce Planning, Org Design, Role Analysis & Redesign and a variety of HR data reporting.
  • Researches and seeks out leading trends and organizational knowledge to understand alternative approaches or solutions.
  • Collects a variety of data and information from various sources to define a problem and related requirements, able to analyze the data and create strategic insights.
  • Supports strategic storytelling through building presentations, artefacts and other materials into compelling recommendations for senior leaders that drive stakeholder alignment and next step actions.
  • Converts talent strategy priorities and annual talent lifecycle activities (e.g. Year End rollout) into clear and executable plans by leveraging Enterprise offerings and layering on unique T&O requirements to enable seamless execution. Hosts regular touchpoints as key point of contact for HRBPs and manages incoming questions.
  • Supports HRBPs with a variety of initiatives to transform our businesses and provides a weekly round up on key initiatives and upcoming timelines.
  • Facilitates business routines for HR team and helps drive planning and prioritization by leveraging a variety of change management tactics.
  • Supports team OKRs and agile sprint planning, manages and delivers monthly reporting (MBR/QBR) to share progress against OKRs and KPIs with senior stakeholders.
  • Continuously improves through collaboration and partnering with TED team colleagues and HR Centers of Excellence to identify what's working well, make it better and scale best practices and innovative solutions that drive business value and sustained impact.
  • Supports and enables team meetings, onboarding and training initiatives.
  • Coach others on continuous improvement and sharing of best practices across our team and other TED teams.
  • Support ad hoc HR compliance/reporting asks and project-based tasks.


What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:
  • 5-7 years of experience in human resources (HR), project management, or supporting complex programs/initiatives.
  • University undergraduate degree or relevant experience within financial services and/or HR or Enablement teams.
  • Excellent MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Proficient in leveraging data to forecast and develop a vision for future workforce needs.
  • Strong consulting skills and innovative thinking with a desire for continuous improvement.
  • Excellent problem solving, solution-oriented mindset and proven ability to collaborate and successfully partner with others to drive results.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills with an ability to use data to tell a story.
  • Proven ability in building rapport and maintaining client relationships while working independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven stakeholder management with ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Track record of managing multiple competing priorities and deliverables. Exceptional time management and organizational skills. High attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and an ever-changing environment with a willingness to take feedback and pivot quickly.


Nice-to-have:
  • Leverages AI tools to efficiently deliver results.
  • Experience working within a fast-paced AI or Technology related environment, an asset.
  • Working experience in HR. CHRP, CHRL or in-progress, an asset.
  • Ability to adapt and change to fit the needs of the requests.
  • Consulting experience, an asset.
