Full Job Description
This is a hybrid opportunity. You'll work 4 days work from home with 1 day a week in-office expectation at 5255 boulevard Henri Bourassa Ouest bureau 130. You'll also occasionally travel within the region and across Canada.

The Opportunity:

Reporting the the Senior Director, Talent Strategy, the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition, is responsible for setting up the strategy, processes, and criteria to enable a systematic and targeted approach to recruiting for core clinicians across Canada. The leader will succeed through managing, engaging and developing a team and providing exceptional candidate experiences.

The Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition - Quebec & Maritimes is responsible for leading and executing talent acquisition strategy across Lifemark and Physiothérapie Universelle, with a particular focus on attracting and hiring high-quality clinical and corporate talent.

This role will lead a team of Talent Acquisition professionals and act as a strategic talent partner to Regional Directors, Clinic Directors, Provincial Leaders, HR Business Partners and other senior stakeholders. The successful candidate will bring a strong understanding of healthcare recruitment, regional labour markets and specialized talent sourcing, while balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution.

A key focus of this role will be developing sustainable talent pipelines, strengthening the Lifemark Health Group and Universelle employer brands and candidate experience, using market data to inform recruitment strategies, and ensuring recruitment outcomes support business growth and workforce needs.

Your Key Accountabilities:

Talent Acquisition Strategy

  • Develop and execute regional talent acquisition strategies for Quebec and Maritimes, aligned to business priorities and workforce plans.
  • Identify critical and hard-to-fill roles and establish targeted sourcing and pipelining strategies to meet current and future hiring needs.
  • Use labour-market insights, recruiting data and business intelligence to identify talent opportunities, challenges and emerging trends.
  • Develop flexible and sustainable recruitment approaches that can adapt to changing business and market conditions.
  • Partner with the broader Talent Acquisition and Employee Experience teams to continually improve recruitment programs, processes and tools.


Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, mentor and engage a team of Talent Acquisition professionals, fostering a high-performing, inclusive and collaborative environment.
  • Establish clear performance expectations, goals and measures for the recruitment team.
  • Support ongoing development of team members through coaching, feedback, knowledge sharing and career development.
  • Remove barriers for the team and ensure recruiters have the tools, resources and support required to deliver strong business outcomes.
  • Build strong partnerships with Talent Acquisition peers nationally to share best practices and drive consistency.


Stakeholder & Relationship Management

  • Build trusted relationships with Regional Directors, Clinic Directors, Provincial Leaders, HR Business Partners and senior leadership.
  • Partner closely with business leaders to understand workforce needs and develop recruitment strategies that address both immediate requirements and longer-term talent plans.
  • Influence and advise leaders on labour-market conditions, candidate availability, sourcing strategies, compensation considerations and recruitment timelines.
  • Establish strong relationships with external market partners, including agencies, professional associations, educational institutions and other talent communities.


Specialized & Clinical Recruitment

  • Lead or support full-cycle recruitment for priority and specialized roles, with a strong focus on clinicians and other hard-to-fill healthcare positions.
  • Develop direct-sourcing strategies to identify and engage passive candidates.
  • Build targeted talent communities and pipelines for high-demand clinical roles.
  • Work with leaders and internal partners to understand applicable provincial certification, registration and licensing requirements and incorporate these considerations into recruitment strategies.
  • Ensure a consistent, high-quality recruitment process that supports both hiring outcomes and long-term retention.


Candidate Experience & Employer Brand

  • Champion a differentiated and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Partner with Employee Experience and Recruitment Marketing to strengthen the Lifemark Health Group and Universelle employer brand within Quebec and the Maritimes Region.
  • Develop and leverage recruitment materials, messaging, pitch decks and other resources that effectively communicate the Lifemark Health Group and Universelle employee value proposition.
  • Support recruitment campaigns, networking events, professional associations and educational partnerships to increase awareness and build talent pipelines.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance Lifemark Health Group and Universelle presence within priority talent markets.


Analytics, Reporting & Process Improvement

  • Establish and monitor recruitment KPIs, including pipeline health, time to fill, source effectiveness, hiring activity and candidate experience.
  • Prepare regular reporting and dashboards for senior leadership, highlighting trends, risks, opportunities and recommended actions.
  • Use data and market intelligence to continuously evaluate recruitment channels and improve sourcing effectiveness.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify and improve recruitment processes, systems and workflows.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting across supported business areas.


What You Bring

  • 8+ years of progressive Talent Acquisition experience, including experience leading teams and managing complex recruitment portfolios.
  • Post-Secondary Education in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or a related field.
  • Must be fluently Bilingual in French and English as this opportunity will have National interactions.
  • Proven experience recruiting in healthcare, professional services or another specialized talent environment; healthcare and clinical recruitment experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing recruitment strategies across multiple geographic markets.
  • Experience recruiting hard-to-fill and specialized positions using proactive sourcing and talent pipelining techniques.
  • Strong understanding of direct sourcing, passive candidate engagement and modern recruitment practices.
  • Demonstrated experience leading, coaching and developing Talent Acquisition teams.
  • Strong business partnering skills and the ability to build credibility and influence with leaders at all levels of an organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with experience using recruiting data and market insights to inform decisions.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems, recruiting technology, sourcing tools and recruitment reporting platforms; ADP experience is an asset.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment while managing competing priorities.
  • Strong judgement, critical thinking and commercial acumen.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on recruitment execution.
