Job Description

The Oracle Threat Intelligence Center is responsible for the tracking and monitoring of a range of threat actors from cybercrime to Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) groups impacting Oracle and its customers. The scope and responsibility of this team includes attack analysis, tracking threat actor's indicators of compromise (IOCs) and their tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), aiding in security incident response, executive communication, and customer outreach.

As a Senior Manager for the Signals Engineering team, you will be responsible for managing the creation of innovative technologies to help identify the bad guys in the environment as well as those abusing Oracle resources. This includes creating and maintaining large-scale malware triage systems, Agentic-driven intelligence platforms, a Threat Intelligence MCP server, cloud forensic technologies, and software supply chain risks.

Also guides employees on using advanced tools and techniques for data security such as encryption, hashing, masking, and access management to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Large Scale Intelligence Security Systems Development:
  • Guides the development of large scales system to support the Oracle Threat Intelligence Center and the Cyber Defense Center
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Cloud architecture
  • Background in large-scale security systems development for major hyperscale clouds (OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Deep understanding of threat intelligence and cybersecurity space including tracking of tactics, techniques, and procedures of adversaries

Business Continuity Support:Guides the development of business continuity and disaster recovery plans, processes, and procedures.
  • Ensures the availability and resilience of critical systems and data, overseeing efforts to withstand disruptions.
  • Directs readiness assessments for certifications and audits, implementing improvements to meet evolving standards.

Malware Triage and Forensic Systems:
  • Knowledge of how to use structured queries to pull data from logs and be able to formulate signatures such as YARA, Snort, Suricata, Bro/Zeek successfully
  • Background in static and dynamic malware analysis and research. Reverse Engineering skills a plus.

Research and Innovation with Agentic solutions:
  • Drives industry security knowledge advancement, fostering research and innovation efforts.
  • Aligns the team on emerging trends, ensuring shared knowledge of evolving threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Promotes novel techniques to solve unique security problems, encouraging creative and effective solutions.

MCP Server development:
  • Understanding of MCP deployment and maintenance of system from database and RBAC perspective
  • Scalability experience to serve needs of major international organization

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $126,200 to $264,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
