Job Summary The Senior Manager S&OP Strategy leads the governance, cadence, and continuous improvement of the company's S&OP process. This role partners across Supply Chain, Operations, Commercial, Finance, and Customer teams to turn planning inputs into clear risks, tradeoffs, actions, and leadership decisions.
This role does not own day-to-day demand, supply, capacity, or production planning. Instead, it ensures the S&OP process is structured, decision-focused, and connected to business priorities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the overall design and continuous improvement of the S&OP process, including meeting cadence, governance, decision rights, standard work, and escalation routines.
- Own the S&OP calendar, meeting structure, pre-read requirements, executive agenda, and action tracking for key S&OP forums.
- Coordinate inputs from Demand Planning, Collaborative Planning, Supply Planning, Capacity Planning, Finance, Commercial, Operations, and Customer teams to support integrated business decisions.
- Translate planning outputs into clear insights, risks, tradeoffs, and recommended decisions for the VP of Supply Chain and cross-functional leadership.
- Develop and maintain S&OP performance scorecards, including service, forecast accuracy, forecast bias, supply attainment, inventory, working capital, capacity utilization, and action closure.
- Partner with Finance to connect S&OP outputs to AOP, latest estimate, margin, EBITDA, and working capital impacts.
- Support scenario planning and tradeoff analysis for major business decisions, including demand changes, capacity constraints, customer prioritization, inventory policy, and network impacts.
- Identify recurring gaps in planning inputs, decision quality, escalation discipline, and cross-functional alignment; work with functional owners to improve the process.
- Maintain S&OP playbooks, templates, standard work, and maturity roadmap across platforms and sites.
- Ensure S&OP forums stay focused on enterprise-level decisions, risks, tradeoffs, and escalations rather than routine planning updates.
Qualifications- Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Operations, or a related field
- Experience: 7+ years of progressive supply chain, S&OP, or operations experience
- Proven experience leading or supporting S&OP processes, governance, or cross-functional planning routines
- Experience working across Demand, Supply, Finance, and Commercial functions in a matrixed environment
- Demonstrated experience driving process design, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Experience preparing executive-level materials and facilitating senior leadership discussions
- Skills:
- Deep understanding of S&OP processes, governance, and performance management
- Strong business acumen, including financial concepts (AOP, forecast, margin, EBITDA, working capital)
- Ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights, risks, and actionable recommendations
- Strong facilitation skills to drive decision-making, alignment, and accountability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive presentation capabilities
- Structured problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate ambiguity
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder influence skills
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems, planning tools)

The pay range for this full-time, salaried position is $124,818 - $187,226/year. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive based on company and individual performance. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
