Full Job Description
About the role

Anthropic's Non-Financial Reporting team owns Anthropic's mandatory mandatory disclosures. In this role, you will own cross functional mechanisms to understand the reporting implications of our compute build out. You will build out data management processes, drive key disclosure strategy decisions, and develop a repeatable approach for responding to customer queries. You will help define how the impact of frontier AI gets measured, disclosed, and verified.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and own the internal mechanisms to track and resolve open questions on leases, capex, and other changes to our company footprint, so that financial reporting and non-financial reporting stay aligned.
  • Prepare the mandatory disclosure filings (EU CSRD, AU ASRS, etc.) and successor regimes, and develop risk assessment methodologies to enable compliance with these frameworks.
  • Own corporate reporting on non-financial metrics including carbon, energy, water and other relevant metrics.
  • Ensure our non-financial reporting is assurance-ready: design the controls, documentation, and tech systems to the same standard as our financial reporting, and manage external assurance processes.
  • Assist in developing our disclosure strategy and governance in partnership with legal, communications and policy teams: assess the reporting landscape, and set our voluntary disclosure posture (CDP, EcoVadis, customer-facing statements).
  • Develop a scalable process for responding to customer requests - maintain the answer library, meet SLAs agreed with Sales, and own the methodology for customer-level reporting.
Minimum qualifications
  • Deep working knowledge of mandatory reporting standards and experience building a data management plan, documenting methodology choices, and defending them to auditors or assurance providers.
  • Cloud or data-center impact accounting (electricity and energy data, supplier-specific data).
  • Proficiency in maintaining non-financial accounting platforms and managing multi-stakeholder data collection.
  • Familiarity with financial accounting standards accounting and the ability to partner with financial accounting teams.
Preferred qualifications
  • 10+ years in reporting experience: has owned regulatory reporting deliverables end to end - mandatory corporate disclosures, voluntary frameworks, or customer-facing reporting (e.g. CDP, EcoVadis, procurement checklists, or similar).
  • CPA, and sustainability reporting credential (FSA Credential, GRI Professional, or similar).
  • Masters degree in accounting, finance, environmental science, engineering, sustainability, or a related quantitative field - or equivalent practical experience.
  • Assurance experience.
  • ISO 14001 experience; public-sector procurement exposure.
  • Experience building a repeatable reporting process from scratch and coordinating across Sales, Legal, Comms and Finance; strong written communication.
