TheSenior Manager, Project Managementplays a vital role within the Project Delivery organization, responsible for managing a portfolio of key projects that support business operations and compliance initiatives. This position involves leading the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget, while meeting quality and safety standards. The Senior Manager will oversee large-scale capital design and construction projects within either the Innovative Medicines, providing guidance and coordination across cross-functional teams. This includes defining project scope, developing schedules, securing resources, and managing stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Given the global scope of Johnson & Johnson92s facilities, including manufacturing sites, laboratories, and offices92the Senior Manager will leverage technical expertise and project management best practices to identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans. The role requires a strong focus on operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and safety, supporting the organization92s strategic priorities and ensuring successful project outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Lead and oversee project execution following IDEA and FPX, ensuring all deliverables align with safety, cost, schedule, and quality benchmarks. Follow and implement the project execution plan methodology to identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle. Facilitate comprehensive project planning, tracking, and reporting against FPOs to ensure project and program success. Manage customer interactions, contractor relationships, and communications to ensure stakeholder alignment and satisfaction. Oversee project portfolios across diverse sites, whether at IM or MD locations, ensuring delivery in accordance with organizational KPIs. Oversee or support other project leads, stepping into the role of Senior Project Lead when required to ensure consistency and excellence in project delivery Drive the application of best practices and continuous improvement in project management processes. Demonstrate proactive leadership by managing project teams, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and fostering collaboration among regional stakeholders. Act as the primary point of contact for project, ensuring seamless integration of technical, financial, and operational aspects. This role demands a strategic yet hands-on leader with strong risk management skills, excellent stakeholder communication, and a focus on delivering projects safely, efficiently, and sustainably. Qualifications Education: Bachelor92s degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management from an accredited institution required Required: 10 years or more of relevant experience in engineering, project management, or manufacturing, with a focus on operational excellence and team leadership Demonstrated experience in managing projects or programs within a regulated manufacturing environment, including planning, execution, and compliance Strong knowledge of Laboratories, manufacturing processes in FDA-regulated environments, including design, startup, and operational phases. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, coordinate efforts across different departments, and ensure project delivery on time and within budget. Experience with financial management related to project or operational budgets, resource planning, and forecasting.
