Job Description:As the
Senior Manager, Product Marketing, you will lead the strategic development and execution of global go-to-market initiatives that drive player engagement, audience growth, and business performance across the Diablo franchise. You will shape marketing strategies for major content releases, live-service moments, and key business priorities, partnering closely with Development, Creative, Communications, Community, Analytics, Cross-Functional, and Regional Marketing teams. By leveraging player insights, market intelligence, and performance analytics, you will help shape the future of Blizzard's product marketing strategy and ensure every campaign delivers meaningful impact for players around the world.
This role requires a marketing leader who can balance long-term product strategy with flawless go-to-market execution. You will partner with stakeholders across Blizzard to develop integrated marketing plans that connect with players and support business objectives. Success in this role requires strong leadership, operational excellence, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams at scale. The ideal candidate combines strategic vision, analytical rigor, and deep product marketing expertise while elevating the effectiveness of the broader marketing organization.
This role offers a hybrid work week, with a mix of work-from-home and onsite days, based out of our Irvine, CA studio. While hybrid is the standard arrangement, candidates may also choose to work onsite full-time if preferred.
ResponsibilitiesPriorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Define and lead integrated go-to-market and product marketing strategies that drive player engagement, audience growth, and business performance across the Diablo franchise.
- Partner with franchise and marketing leadership to shape long-term product marketing priorities, and growth opportunities.
- Lead major content launches, seasonal campaigns, live-service initiatives, and key marketing moments from planning through launch and performance analysis.
- Partner across Development, Product, Creative, Community, Communications, Regional Marketing, Growth, CRM, Analytics, and platform partners to deliver cohesive player-facing campaigns and achieve business objectives.
- Define product positioning, audience strategies, and key messaging informed by player insights, market intelligence, and performance analytics.
- Establish campaign goals, measurement frameworks, and reporting that evaluate business impact, optimize performance, and inform future investment decisions.
- Present strategies, recommendations, and performance insights to senior leadership and key stakeholders, influencing decision-making across the organization.
- Coach and develop Product Marketing team members through feedback, mentorship, and career development support.
- Drive improvements to marketing processes, planning frameworks, and operational workflows that increase organizational efficiency and campaign effectiveness.
- Identify emerging platforms, technologies, and consumer trends that create new opportunities to deepen player engagement and expand franchise reach.
Minimum Requirements - 10+ years of product marketing experience with a demonstrated track record of leading global go-to-market strategies and high-impact product launches.
- Proven experience developing and executing large-scale integrated marketing campaigns that drive business and audience growth.
- Demonstrated success influencing senior stakeholders and leading cross-functional decision-making.
- Strong analytical capabilities with experience leveraging consumer insights, performance measurement, and ROI analysis to inform strategy.
- Experience defining product marketing strategy and influencing business decisions at the franchise, portfolio, or organizational level.
- Deep understanding of gaming, entertainment, live-service products, and player behavior.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and executive presentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience leading global teams and delivering campaigns across multiple international regions.
- Direct experience marketing live-service games, digital entertainment products, or technology brands.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent marketing initiatives and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to team development and continuous improvement of marketing processes and workflows.
- Passion for gaming and a strong understanding of Blizzard's player communities and franchise portfolio.
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $119,280.00 - $220,700.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
