Full Job Description
The Royal Caribbean Group's IT Shipboard F&B Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Senior Manager, Product Management reporting to the Director, IT Shipboard Food and Beverage.

This position is onsite and based in Miramar, Florida.

This position is also not eligible for work authorization sponsorship.

Position Summary:

The Senior Manager, Product Management (Guest Flow, POS & Payments) owns the strategy, evolution, and performance of the transaction-backbone product portfolio for Royal Caribbean Group - Point-of-Sale, digital and onboard payments, guest-flow and venue-traffic management, Events (Events360), and the foundational crew back-of-house tools (Crew Manager, Crew Assignment, Crew Scheduling).

This role drives modernization of the systems that move money and people across the ship - $5.5B in gross sales through POS, 225M+ transactions, and 9M+ venue-traffic guests annually - reducing friction for guests and crew while unlocking self-service and new digital-payment capabilities.

The Senior Manager partners closely with Hotel Operations, Finance, Commercial, and Marine to align technology investment with measurable revenue, efficiency, and guest-satisfaction outcomes, and builds the crew-scheduling foundation that feeds the broader Labor and AI program.

Product Management is the strategic engine of GET Onboard - the function that converts Royal Caribbean Group's onboard business strategy into the digital products that generate and protect revenue across a 60+ ship global fleet serving millions of guests a year. It decides what gets built and why, owns the roadmap, and is accountable for the measurable value technology returns to the business.

The Senior Manager owns a multi-domain portfolio and leads other leaders. Market value reflects portfolio-level, revenue-adjacent accountability, executive stakeholder influence, and enterprise standardization scope - benchmarked against senior technology-leadership roles across hospitality and technology sectors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Product Management
  • Own the strategic direction and full lifecycle of POS, payments, guest flow, events, and crew back-of-house products.
  • Define and execute multi-year roadmaps that modernize the transaction backbone and reduce guest and crew friction.
  • Lead and mentor multiple product teams across Miramar and Manila; translate commercial and operational needs into structured engineering intake.

POS & Payments Modernization
  • Own modernization of the fleet-wide POS backbone ($5.5B gross sales; 225M+ transactions) and keep pace with shoreside and modern vacation standards.
  • Drive the digital-payments roadmap - Fexco payments plus emerging rails (Zelle, Venmo) - and enable self-checkout and frictionless guest payment.
  • Ensure PCI compliance, security, availability, and reliability of payment and POS platforms across the fleet.

Guest Flow, Events & Venue Traffic
  • Advance Guest Sense / preferences and self-service integrations that reduce front-desk demand and wait times.
  • Own Events360 - reimagining how space is booked onboard (crew-first, then guest); ~200K events and 1,200 weddings ($6M+ wedding revenue).
  • Own venue-traffic management (9M+ guests) as a source of operational and revenue insight.

Crew Back-of-House - Labor Foundation
  • Deliver the foundational crew tools - SeaTime time & attendance (~40K crew users), Crew Assignment Manager, and Crew Scheduling.
  • Build these as Phase 0 for the larger Labor initiative and hand off cleanly to that program as it stands up.
  • Use cross-system crew data to unlock scheduling efficiency and downstream automation.

Operational Excellence & Efficiency
  • Drive standardization, automation, and scalable frameworks across products and platforms fleet-wide.
  • Ensure availability and performance across the fleet, including concurrent Newbuild and Dry Dock deployments.
  • Monitor KPIs and guest/crew-satisfaction metrics to drive continuous improvement.

Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Partner with Hotel Operations, Finance, Commercial, Marine, and New Construction to align investment with measurable outcomes.
  • Manage third-party vendors and integrations supporting payments, POS, and events.
  • Influence stakeholders at all levels and coordinate concurrent deployments across the fleet.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Experience
  • 10+ years in product/technology leadership, including multi-team and portfolio ownership.
  • Experience leading technology programs across multiple products and concurrent major projects.

Skills
  • Portfolio-level strategic leadership; strong executive stakeholder influence.
  • Systems thinker able to create scalable frameworks and manage complexity across domains.

Technical / Functional Skills
  • Strong product-management fundamentals - discovery, roadmap, backlog, delivery, and measurement.
  • Comfortable applying AI and automation to reduce manual effort and improve reliability.
  • Able to create scalable frameworks and set standards others follow in a dynamic, multi-product environment.

Leadership / Behavioral Competencies
  • Sets vision and leads leaders; strong executive presence and influence.
  • Disciplined execution with a passion for the guest and crew experience.
  • Comfortable with complexity and ambiguity across multiple simultaneous priorities.

  • Occasional travel for Newbuild, Dry Dock, ship visits, or team collaboration as required.
